ArtistYear, the first national AmeriCorps program for artists to dedicate a year of service to our nation, is thrilled to announce a partnership with the Earth Conservation Corps (ECC), an AmeriCorps program that empowers youth from stressed communities in the Washington D.C. area through service learning, habitat restoration, and environmental education.
Through this partnership, ArtistYear will recruit and train Resident Teaching Artists (RTAs) who will serve with the ECC to support their youth development and environmental education goals through art.
